Heavy, in the good way.
At 9.5 ounces the 1567 is a true heavyweight. It hangs straight, blocks the wind on the walk to the car, and still feels like fleece rather than a coat.
02 / THE FABRIC
Mostly cotton, for a reason.
80% ring-spun US cotton gives it a natural, breathable feel and a soft cotton face for the print. The 20% polyester helps it hold its shape wash after wash.
03 / THE HOOD
Lined, not limp.
The hood is lined in soft jersey, so it has enough body to stay up and feels gentle against the back of your neck. A flat, color-matched drawcord keeps it tidy instead of dangling.

Color with character.
Garment dyeing gives every shade a soft, slightly vintage depth, and each piece varies a little. Colors look softer in person than on a screen, which is part of the charm.

Room to settle in.
A relaxed unisex cut with rolled-forward shoulders layers easily over a tee or a flannel. It shares its body measurements with our 1566 crewneck, so once you know your size, it works for both.

A roomy front pouch pocket, ribbed cuffs and hem that spring back to shape, twill tape along the neck seam, and a half-moon patch at the back neck so the collar never stretches out.

Art in the fleece, not on top of it.
The artwork is printed direct-to-garment: the ink goes into the fabric rather than onto a film laid over it. No heavy patch, no rubbery square, no stiff edge you can feel through the sleeve. The print stays soft, moves with the fleece, and softens alongside it. Some of our hoodies carry a small front print and a large back print; the product page always says which.

A few good questions.
What does garment-dyed mean?
The hoodie is dyed after it is sewn, rather than being cut from fabric that was dyed first. That is what gives each piece its soft, lived-in color, and why shades can vary slightly between garments and batches.
How is the artwork printed?
Direct-to-garment. The design is printed straight into the fabric with water-based ink, rather than cut from vinyl or pressed on as a transfer film. That is why the print feels like part of the hoodie instead of a patch stuck to it, and why it softens along with the fleece rather than peeling or cracking at the edges. Fine detail survives too — the thin ski poles, the lit windows and the shading in our illustrations come through at full resolution.
Is it a pullover or a zip?
A pullover. The 1567 has a jersey-lined hood, a front pouch pocket and no zipper, which keeps the front clear for the artwork.
Hoodie or crewneck?
They share the same body measurements, so choose by how you wear it. The crewneck is the easy everyday layer. The hoodie adds the lined hood and a front pocket for colder mornings, windy trailheads and the drive up to the mountain.
Will it shrink?
Garment-dyed fleece is washed during dyeing, which helps, but it can still shrink slightly with heat. Wash cold and tumble dry low. If you are between sizes, size up.
Is every Known Pack hoodie Comfort Colors?
Most are. A few designs use other blanks, such as our Gildan heavy-blend hoodies. Each product page lists its exact garment, fabric, and size guide.
